Data Practices

Privacy Policy

How Rootvertex handles your agency data, cookies, and Client database migrations.

01. Information We Collect

We collect standard agency business information required to scoping, executing, and billing custom projects. This includes name, agency email address, billing/invoicing details, Slack profile details, and any staging access keys provided to us during active projects.

02. Database Security & Migration Sanitization

As white-label developers, we frequently execute massive migrations and Python scrapings involving databases, user roles, order histories, and personal profiles. We enforce strict data handling hygiene:

  • **Zero Persistent Storage:** We do not host, store, or warehouse Client end-user database records, order histories, or sensitive profiles on our local systems or servers beyond the active development window.
  • **Temporary Backups:** Staging databases pulled for development or migration mapping are maintained securely and are purged completely within seven (7) days of final deployment.
  • **Data Sanitization:** During local migration runs, our scripts sanitize or exclude sensitive transaction keys, personal IDs, or raw credentials to prevent exposure.

03. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not rent, sell, trade, or distribute your agency information or your client data to any marketing company or external platform. Information is shared strictly with our internal engineers assigned to your active builds and our billing software integrations.

04. Cookies and Tracking

We collect basic cookies on this main site to analyze user traffic patterns via anonymized dashboard tracking. We do not inject tracking scripts, commercial pixels, or analytics onto the white-label staging domains built for your clients.

05. Contacting Our Security Lead

If you or your compliance leads have questions regarding staging environments, secure server access protocols, or technical sanitization policies, feel free to contact us directly at security@rootvertex.com.
